Savor These Local Treasures While Entertaining Your Guests
Two of our favorite arrivals this June...a newly released cookbook featuring recipes from iconic Providence and Rhode Island restaurants such as Al Forno (their lobster risotto) and White Horse Tavern (beef wellington anyone?) AND stone coasters and trivets with local images by Providence photographer Kate Salvi. Savor the authenticity of supporting local businesses while dining on extraordinary local dishes.

"Architecture" For Wine Lovers and Beer Connoisseurs
Made of lead free crystal, these visually stunning vessels also provide real function to all who are fortunate enough to hold on to one. The decanter and stemless wine glass invite a swirling motion when set down on a solid surface allowing the wine to aerate to its full flavor potential. The bottom of the beer glass is designed to enhance the effervescence of carbonated beverages. For gift-giving they are all presented in an elegant gift box (packaged as a set of two for either glass).

It's Raining. We're Grumpy.
For over 100 years Gund has been known for its quality, beloved plush toys. On a recent buying trip to Atlanta I was assaulted by the grumpy charm of this iconic feline in their showroom window. The result? A dozen in her likeness arrived at Homestyle today and are ready for immediate adoption. What better way to cheer up an otherwise grumpy, rainy day??

Watering Your Plants Can Be Like Happy Hour For Foliage
What to do with an empty wine bottle once you've enjoyed its contents? Hmm. Use it as a time-released watering vessel for your favorite fern! Insert the terracotta stake into moist soil near the plant's root base. Refill the bottle with water and set it into the stake. Great for both indoors and out. Cheers!

Book Ends from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Simple in design but strong enough to hold a load of hardcovers, this gentle giant is a perfectly charming pair of book ends. Made of super-solid cast resin and painted to resemble driftwood. Moby Dick would be proud.
